Wrapped Health is live, now integrated with athenahealth

Wrapped Health is live. Providers on athenahealth can now build a patient's over-the-counter product recommendation inside the chart, then send a secure link the patient uses to buy exactly what was recommended, without leaving athenaOne.

Here is what that looks like in a visit. A provider builds the recommendation from the product catalog inside athenaOne, reviews it, and sends the patient a secure link before they leave the room. The patient opens the link, sees exactly what the provider chose, and checks out with a retail partner that handles pricing, payment, and delivery. The practice never touches inventory, never processes a payment, and never marks anything up, so the recommendation stays a clinical decision, not a sales one.

Why athenahealth first

We started with athenahealth because its open integration model allows Wrapped to fit seamlessly into providers' existing workflows, enhancing the product recommendations they already make as part of patient care. There is no separate system to open and nothing new to install. A practice can start today with Wrapped running in a standalone browser, or embedded right in the chart.

What's next
